Hydraulics and hydrology are our core.
From 1D and 2D hydraulic models to distributed watershed simulations, we use the right tool for bridge sizing, floodplain impacts, scour, drainage investigations, and stormwater planning.
Hydro-Engineering Solutions is a general civil engineering firm with deep specialization in hydraulics, hydrology, stormwater management, flood studies, bridge and culvert sizing, MS4 support, and watershed modeling.
Hydro blends field experience, calibrated models, regulatory knowledge, and buildable design. We help the state, counties, municipalities, developers, and transportation clients make sound decisions before water becomes a problem.

Hydro, LLC is a general civil engineering firm with specialized engineering expertise in Hydraulics and Hydrology. It is located in Auburn, Alabama.
The company originally named Hydro-Engineering Solutions, LLC was established in June of 1999 and was acquired by Trimble Navigation Limited in August of 2013 along with RainWave, LLC, a company spun off of Hydro-Engineering Solutions, LLC. In September of 2016 it was acquired back from Trimble and acted as a dealer for Trimble’s Water Division until that division sold to Badger Meter. Hydro continues its relationships with Badger Meter and other software and hardware companies providing access to state-of-the-art technologies. Hydro brings high end engineering solutions using cutting edge technologies to federal, state, local governments, and private entities.
Hydro has supported transportation agencies, counties, municipalities, watershed programs, and public works organizations across Alabama.
